Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Bombay Rava (Sooji)
  • ½ Cup Sugar (White or Brown)
  • 2 to 3 Cups Milk
  • 2 Tsp Ghee
  • 4 or 5 Nos Cardamom (powdered)
  • 10 Nos Raisins
  • Cashewnuts (as required)
  • 2 Cups Water

Notes

  1. Don’t add more water to boil rava as we have to add milk. 
  2. You can add little Milkmaid along with milk to have added taste. 
  3. You can soak 2 to 4 saffron strands in milk for 5 minutes and mash them well. You can add this mix to Payasam  which will give both colour and fragrance.
